Slacking Off

Looks like most of us slacked off on last month's movie, Northfork. My copy is still sitting at home, unwatched. Sorry, Looney. Been one of those months. I still intend to watch it ASAP, and will contribute to the discussion thread below once I do.

It's time, however, for someone to name a new movie. Who wants to be up? First one to post, "Me! Me!" in the comments gets to choose this month's movie. Name your choice here in a new post on June 1.

I'm glad I'm not the only one, Jeff. With all that's been going on, esp. w/ the family, Netflix is probably wondering if I've died. Sorry, Looney, I've had it around for at least two weeks and haven't gotten to it yet, either.

I'm not ready, obviously, to host. I want dibs on December!!!!!!

I so totally did not slack off! I scoured no less than 5 Blockbuster and Hollywood Video stores in the greater Charlotte area. I wanted to see Looney's movie! But *they* don't want me to see it. Maybe *they* are afraid of what would happen if we were all united under Northfork, hmmm??

I did. Slacked. Probably will all summer. What does it mean when I can look at the upcoming summer and know I won't have time to watch a couple movies? Hopefully that I'm real bad at estimations.

So, you like the old Film Freaks location bar icon better, or the new one I just made? Always tinkerin'.

I didn't slack, either, since I could not find the film at any local video store, and I am not a Netflixer. I guess this is something to keep in mind in the future...availability!

I admit partial slack only (which is, in my life, basically an advanced form of victory). I should be getting Northfork via NetFlix any day now. I WILL watch it right away, and I will comment in the appropriate space soon thereafter.

AFA Casablanca, considering that most of us could start talking about that right now with no viewing necessary, I am counting on Mr. Kos to conjur up the most thought-provoking discussion points ever known in all of film critique history.
