The Cary Grant Box Set (Holiday / Only Angels Have Wings / The Talk of the Town / His Girl Friday / The Awful Truth) (1938)
Regular prince is $50, sale is $20. So $4/movie isn't bad.
What's your favorite Cary Grant movie? What's your favorite Cary Grant performance?

Favorite Cary Grant? That is TOUGH. After all, he made three fantastic films with Hitchcock (after one that was just okay), plus there's two of the ALL TIME GREATEST comedies - The Philadelphia Story and my fave, Arsenic and Old Lace.
Frankly, his greatest act may have been in becoming Hollywood's "All American Man."
All I know is North by Northwest. A movie catalog I am not. Hey, you know what? He should have been in Casino Royale too, 'long with them other guys.
Arsenic and Old Lace, great suggestion. And let's not forget the great performance he gave in Some Like It Hot, disguised as Tony Curtis. But there's also To Catch a Thief, and Bringing Up Baby. In fact, since the last one also has Kate Hepburn, that has to be the best of his movies.
I think his best performance overall was possibly as Fancy in Top Cat. So understated.
Favorite performance? Def "Cary Granite". Yep, spanking time again...I haven't seen any of his films.
I'm so kicked out of the FFFC, aren't I?
"A movie catalog I am not."
Are you another type of catalog? Specifically, old-time radio parts? I'm trying to help my dad find parts for a 1930s radio and I could use the help.
SG - I do NOT believe I forgot BUB. That's a great flick. Should have been in the whatchamacallit.
Jodie - You're not fooling anybody. You just want to be spanked. :-)
Man, I loved so very many of Mr. Cary Grant's movies. I probably have the fondest memories of NxNW, but that's because of having watched it with my dad late at night on my Grandpa and Grandma's old Zenith black and white. But Charade, An Affair to REmember, To Catch a Thief, Notorious, ARsenic, The Bishop's Wife, His Girl Friday, Bringing Up Baby, Philadelphia Story... What a list.
North by Northwest, Arsenic, and The Bishop's Wife. Oh, and of course, The Philadelphia Story!
He was classy and there's nobody like him these days.
Confess...still ain't seen his flicks, though.
ummm...awaiting that spanking.
